CrosscutUSA provides an innovative solution to serving the homeless with the goal of providing a path out of homelessness.

• CrosscutUSA connects users with job & volunteer opportunities, posted by individuals & organizations that want to help.

Jobs can include gigs such as moving help, weekly lawn care, and so forth. Gigs are searchable in real time, by location, so users can find work within reach.
Our rating system allows employers to rate job performance & employees to rate job providers, ensuring a mutually beneficial arrangement that helps users establish credibility & job history. Employers can feel secure in selecting applicants with a track-record of good work. Organizations can post volunteer opportunities, such as soup kitchens or beach clean-up, helping users establish a track record. Homeless service organizations will especially benefit from this by developing relationships with those most motivated & able to reintegrate, furthering their missions. When appropriate, they can develop a prioritization system for these candidates.

• CrosscutUSA enables service providers to identify candidates most likely to make best use of resources & lift themselves out of homelessness.

By identifying highly motivated candidates for transitional resources, CrosscutUSA helps organizations use resources efficiently & target like-minded candidates who will be a positive influence on each other. This will create groups of like-minded people striving to bring themselves out of homelessness.

• CrosscutUSA offers a centralized geo tagged database of resources for the homeless, providing service & location information.

Homeless services are a maze of government agencies & non-profits that is overwhelming & difficult to navigate. Social Service Departments are understaffed & often unable to help people track down resources. CrosscutUSA allows users to find, review & rate resources, helping users find the best services available for their needs. Management can be alerted to problems users might otherwise be fearful to mention, helping organizations improve operations.
Our cloud-based backend aggregates data from governmental, municipal & NGO sources. It allows users, the community & organizations to add information & opportunities, keeping the app to date. Using Google Places, Static Maps & Street View, we provide versatility & accuracy in reaching resources. Our database of resources & jobs are continuously growing. We invite users, partners and the community to contribute to this invaluable resource.

• CrosscutUSA allows organizations to reach out to the homeless population, en mass or profile targeted to promote services.
• It allows law enforcement & safety organizations a way to quickly & efficiently contact users about emergencies.
